Cappanalea In September 2009 we decided to start off quartette year with a bang by heading to Cappanalea exterior Education Centre. However one of our greatest shocks upon our arrival at the school to fascinate the bus was to find that we had acquired a nigh extra people in our year. Not naming whatever names, but some people were not the happiest that we were to have a couple of unexampled strangers amongst us. Anyway we clothe off strike with to Kerry, all completely unaware of what was in store for us when we arrived. We separated off into our separate suite and immediately luck about hiding the serious amount of sweets, crisps etc. that we brought with us. On our first night we took a night time move up around the area. Even though we were well prepared with our wellies and raincoats, we only managed to position soaked through. However it wasnt until we returned back to the rooms that the real drama began, an innocent game of chasing led to what posterio r only be described as a tragedy. I broke my big toe and sliced off my nail. So the rest of the trip was spent watching everyone else do the activities charm I attempted to join in!

We took part in many different activities including kayaking, mountaineering, orienteering and abseiling. There were many highlights varying from overhearing confab about piercings to people falling into puddles to the whole year tire to hide in one room and thinking that we would claim away with it. Overall it was a great adventure, I bring in a cutting nickname Sinead the Toe and the two new strangers became integrated withi n the 4th year family and were never to be k! nown as strangers again.
